Eligibility for FMGE

If a student applies or attends a Foreign Medical Graduate Examination(FMGE), the student must have completed his MBBS degree or equivalent degree in abroad countries. The FMGE is just an eligibility examination for the students of India to get a license to practice medicine in India. So the student must have completed his/her Medical degree abroad from a NMC (National Medical Council, India) recognised University.

How many attempts

All the candidates are given THREE ATTEMPTS to qualify FMGE and if they are not able to clear the test in the three attempts, they will not be eligible to get a license from the NMC to practice medicine in India.

University Part

If you choose a university which will provide you with the knowledge, it will help you clear your FMGE.
