NEET exams are conducted every year as an eligibility exam for pursuing medicine courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, etc. It doesn’t matter whether students are going to study in India or abroad, they should appear for the NEET exam. Every year almost 15 lakh students apply in this national level eligibility exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
This year NEET 2021 exam will be conducted with pen and paper and not in online mode. There were predictions that this year 2021, the exam would be conducted twice due to COVID-19 pandemic. After an administrative level discussion between the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, it was decided that the eligibility exam will be conducted only once this year 2021. NEET Exam Question Pattern and Mark Allocations
The NEET exam has 180 (MCQs) Multiple Choice Questions. 45 questions in Physics, 45 questions in chemistry and 90 questions in Biology.

Marking Scheme for NEET Exam 2021
- 4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
- 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- No marks will be given for unattended questions.
