MBBS in Philippines
MBBS degree in the Philippines is called as the MD degree (Doctor of Medicine). There is no difference between the MD degree and the MBBS degree. Commonwealth countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, UK, etc. usually call their doctor degree as MBBS ‘Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery’. NMAT Requirements and Eligibility

NMAT Eligibility Test Pattern
The NMAT exam is more or less same as the MCAT exam held in the United States. Any student who have passed the NEET exam should easily pass this exams with very less amount of effort.

The NMAT test consist of two Parts:
- Mental Ability Test – Part 1
- Academic Proficiency – Part 2
The Part 1 consists of 200 questions which includes topics such as Inductive reasoning, Verbal Skills, Quantitative Skills, Perceptual Acuity test. These tests test the aptitude level of the student which in turn will improve the academic performance of the student. This exam is conducted for about 3 hours.
The Part 2 consists of 200 questions which comprises of topics from basic science such as Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Social Studies. These tests measure the subject proficiency in areas which are part of the academic background required of applicants to do the medical course.

Is NMAT Easy For Indian Students?
NMAT is very easy when compared with the NEET Eligibility exam. If a student can clear NEET exam and get an admission in Philippines, then the student can easily clear the NMAT exam with very low effort. Most of the colleges in the Philippines will allow the students who did not pass the NMAT exam to attend the MD classes, but the student cannot get the Doctor of Medicine degree without clearing the NMAT exam.
