The NMAT test consist of two Parts:
- Mental Ability Test – Part 1
- Academic Proficiency – Part 2
The Part 1 consists of 200 questions which includes topics such as Inductive reasoning, Verbal Skills, Quantitative Skills, Perceptual Acuity test. These tests test the aptitude level of the student which in turn will improve the academic performance of the student. This exam is conducted for about 3 hours.
The Part 2 consists of 200 questions which comprises of topics from basic science such as Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Social Studies. These tests measure the subject proficiency in areas which are part of the academic background required of applicants to do the medical course.
