NEET the entrance test for all medical related courses will be conducted this year through pen and paper mode on 1st August 2021. The registration process date for the NEET will be available shortly. This year’s NEET exam was announced by the NTA as a public notice on 12.03.2021
What is NEET Exam?
NEET exam is an eligibility type examination conducted by the NTA (National Testing Agency). The NEET examination is the ultimate eligibility factor for all medical related courses such as MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary and other medical and paramedical related courses in India.
This year the NEET exams will be conducted in around 155 test centres across India. The Questions will be presented in 11 Indian languages candidates can choose their preferred language. It is estimated that around 16 lakh students will attend the NEET 2021 exams.
NEET Exam – What is new this year?
- 11 Language Choices: Like last year the NEET exams will be held in 11 languages and the students can choose their preferred language
- More Answer Choices: Education Minister Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal said “as the curriculum was cut by 30% due to the COVID-19, therefore in the upcoming competitive NEET 2021 exam, the candidates will have more options to answer the questions”. But official clarity on this matter is yet awaited.
How To Prepare For NEET Exam
Candidates who want to attend the NEET exams have around 4-5 months to prepare for their exams. This time must be used wisely and efficiently to solve sample question papers and must go through other exam resources. Last year candidates in the general category who scored 147-720 got qualified for NEET cut off. For other category students the score was about 113-146. These scores may change this year to some extent, so students must focus to score between these numbers.
